About the Only Way is Rowing: We are 4 proud Essex women on our own rewilding journey by rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in 2025. Our Mission; to prove age is no barrier and ordinary women can do extraordinary things. Through engaging media, events and community outreach, we want to inspire women to ignite your passion, find your challenge or adventure and go for it.

Brentwood Pride 2026
Join the Brentwood Belles at Brentwood Pride! We will be hosting a craft booth at Brentwood Theatre from 11-6. Pride will begin at 11am, and will feature events until 10pm. Visit their instagram to see the schedule of events and activities at Brentwood Theatre, on the High Street, and at Chicken and Frog Bookshop on Crown Street.
Sewing Bee
The Sewing Bee is usually held on the first Friday of the month from 10-1pm at the Great Warley Rectory Hall, Great Warley Street, CM13 3JP (directly opposite St Mary’s Church).
Each month we will have a project session if you wish to join in, otherwise you may bring your own current project to work on or simply come for a chat and be inspired by others.
This is a friendly, informal drop in session where we will have sewing machines and lashings of tea, biscuits, cake, chatter and laughter. There will be a £2 charge each session to cover the hire of the hall.
